The first “good” horse I remember drawing was at the my Dad’s second job as a realtor. He would bring my sister and me with him to the office sometimes on the weekends or evenings and we would sit in the rolling, spinning desk chairs and draw on the back of old listing fliers. I don’t know where that first drawing is now, but I remember it was a horse pulling a wagon. Since that first drawing, I haven’t stopped. I love to draw all animals but horses are by far my favorite. There is something about them, real, model, or 2D that has a calming and centering effect on me.
