Pearl: Grulla Mustang Mare

I'm participating in a very lax monthly model horse painting challenge and this girl was for April. The theme was coloring that represents you in some way. So this girl started out with the idea to be brown (as I'm a brunette) but her colors went another way. She has blue eyes to mimic mine and white markings where I have scars. She's done in pan pastels with colored pencil and acrylic details. Hooves, eyes, and nostrils glossed. Logo removed and stallion bits removed. I definitely like smalls a bit more now that I've discovered doing their eyes with colored pencil instead of acrylic. Stablemate size.
