Dagny

Porthos did it! He finished his 2022 NaMoPaiMo pony! He had a hard time not tasting the materials he used on her base. He presents Dagny, a silver dapple Icelandic mare. The name Dagny is Scandinavian by origin and means "new day". In March of 2020 Porthos was diagnosed with an in operable mammary tumor. He's still hanging on, so Dagny (new day) has extra meaning for us. Dagny is painted in pastels with colored pencil and acrylic details. Her eyes, nostrils, and hooves are glossed. Her base is done in synthetic materials. NFS
