Condor
I did it! Condor, my Namopaimo pony is finished! In the Green Rider by Kristen Britian he is described as a chestnut gelding with multiple scars and no other distinguishing features. I took lots of scar reference photos of the retired race horses I volunteer with to make sure I got the scars right. They had two kinds, deep scars that show grey skin where the fur never grew back and lighter scars where the fur grew back white on a chestnut coat. So Condor got both kinds of scars. And since he probably got them either on a message run or in battle, I didn't give him many where his tack would be. Messenger horses are fast and have incredible stamina so I thought a stock horse type would be good for him. Condor is done in pastels with colored pencil and acrylic details. His logo is sanded and air hole moved. He became a gelding from a mare Babyflo model. His hooves, eyes, and nostrils are glossed. His base is done to look realistic with both real and synthetic materials. NFS
